Former Radio 1 presenter, now presenting #MiDrive and The Big RnB Show on Mi-Soul Radio, Ronnie Herel has previously been nominated for two MOBO awards in the categories of Best Radio Show and UK Best Club DJ and was voted Best Club DJ by readers of Blues & Soul Magazine. He was also nominated for Best DJ at the Urban Music Awards.  As a recording artist he made a number of hits in the early nineties. The biggest being “It’s too Late”, a Carole King cover sung by Dina Carroll, which reached No. 8 in the UK charts. Quartz also collaborated with other musicians to create Clubland. Herel has supported artists such as Amp Fiddler and has performed on releases by the Brand New Heavies.
